After rigorous testing of Treyarch’s new upcoming Call of Duty title, Black Ops, many reviewers are saying that it will not be enough to revive avid gamers faith in the legendary Call of Duty franchise. After Call of Duty 4, players have been expecting much from both Treyarch and Infinity Ward. Call of Duty World at War and Modern Warfare 2 both did not live up to all of the hype they received and now, many find out that neither will Black Ops.
Black Ops has an amazing campaign, but unfortunately it is very short. In today’s gaming market, a game cannot sell with campaign alone and the multiplayer has been less than satisfactory. Many of the guns have little to no kick, just like Modern Warfare 2, thus making assault rifles incredibly powerful. Many of the maps promote camping, and offer various spots for players to launch grenades into hotspots around the map. The most annoying thing that reviewers have found though was the RC car. Being available with only 3 kills, 2 with hardline is very aggravating. Within minutes of the game started, players were all driving around the little RC car. Despite all of these flaws, this will be a high selling game, much like all of the other Call of Duty titles.
